Job Description

Job Title: Customer Scheduler (12-month secondment or FTC)

Reports to: Planning and Distribution Manager

Hours: 39 hours per week

Location: Berry M&H, London Road, Beccles, Suffolk, NR34 8TS

Job Purpose:

  • The role of the Customer Scheduler is to process customer generated schedules, forecasts and Purchase Orders into usable data to streamline order processing and capacity planning.

Responsibilities:

  • To process customer supplied data/orders onto order maintenance system.
  • Work with Production Planners to make best use of available capacity in order to meet customer requirements.
  • Provide prompt customer response on new or amended orders received.
  • To provide feedback in any areas of potential contention.
  • Monitoring outstanding order books and liaising with Production Planners, for a set allocation of customers to ensure orders are delivered on-time-in-full.
  • Providing customer with finished stock data, and managing overdue stocks as required.
  • Compiling ad hoc information relating to all areas of the business in terms of order patterns, forecasts and capacity.

Essential qualifications, skills and knowledge:
