Job Title: Scheduling Assistant (12-month secondment or FTC)

Reports to: Planning and Distribution Manager

Hours: 39 hours per week

Location: M&H Plastics, London Road, Beccles, Suffolk, NR34 8TS

Job Purpose:

The role of the Scheduling Assistant is to process customer generated schedules/forecasts into usable data to streamline order processing and capacity planning.

Responsibilities:

  • To work with and assist Customer Scheduler to process customer supplied data/orders onto order maintenance system.
  • Work with Production Planners to make best use of available capacity in order to meet customer requirements.
  • Provide prompt customer response on new or amended orders received.
  • To provide feedback in any areas of potential contention.
  • Providing customer with finished stock data, and managing overdue stocks as required.
  • Compiling ad hoc information relating to all areas of the business in terms of order patterns, forecasts and capacity.
  • To manage time in the most effective and constructive way possible.
  • Any other reasonable ad hoc task as requested by management.
